I mean seriously, I could totally be a Stark! Right?!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I finally finished reading Book 5 of the Song of Ice and Fire<\/em> series by George RR Martin (which took me an abnormally long time compared to books 1-4).\u00a0 As I read and finished each book in the series I wrote down my thoughts. \u00a0Sometimes they are snippets, sometimes they are discussions I\u2019m having with myself, and sometimes it\u2019s just me rehashing something that happened so that I can work it all out in my head.\u00a0 Writing crap like this down is just something I\u2019ve always done.\u00a0 I\u2019m not really sure why.<\/p>\n

I did not edit these random thought nuggets so BE WARNED THAT THERE ARE MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF SPOILERS AHEAD<\/strong><\/span> and if you don\u2019t want to be spoiled, don\u2019t read those sections.\u00a0 As a bonus I wrote down my brain farts while watching the first season of the HBO Game of Thrones\u00a0<\/em>TV show.\u00a0 I\u2019m not including any of my thoughts on the second season because it\u2019s still in progress and some folks wait for the DVD\u2019s to come out, etc etc.<\/p>\n

So here you go, a glimpse into the way my brain works \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Game of Thrones<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Having descended from Nordic peoples, I have a feeling I would totally dig living at Winterfell.<\/p>\n

I want a direwolf.\u00a0 Pretty pretty please with a cherry on top?<\/p>\n

George, I\u2019m not gonna lie, I\u2019m more than a little pissed that you killed off my favorite Lord.\u00a0 I\u2019m sure his death is going to play a huge part in the books to come but I really thought he was going to get out of there and live to fight another day.<\/p>\n

I will comfort myself with Ned Stark cake pops<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I love Arya. Probably because she reminds me of me at that age, a scraggly, scrawny tomboy running around with all the boys having adventures.\u00a0 I had no use for Barbies except when I needed someone for GI Joe to rescue from the dinosaurs. I would have loved nothing more than to have had a private \u201cdance\u201d instructor back then\u2026actually, that still holds true today.<\/p>\n

This Littlefinger dude is more trouble than he seems.<\/p>\n

Clash of Kings<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

GDit Theon Greyjoy, you little shit.\u00a0 I used to have a sort of crush on my mental image of you with your cocky little smile and your bad boy attitude, but now I just want to go bloody mummer on your ass.\u00a0 How dare you sir!\u00a0 How dare you hurt Old Nan!<\/p>\n

Sansa is my least favorite of all the Starks\u2026so why do I cry the ugly cry during her parts?!? I love Arya and she\u2019s going through way more crap than Sansa is but I don\u2019t even get verklempt during Arya\u2019s parts.\u00a0 I think it must be because Sansa is so helpless and defenseless.\u00a0 Arya\u2019s got skillz and can take care of herself but Sansa can only whimper while Joffrey is abusing her.\u00a0 I will say that Sansa has grown on me though.\u00a0 I wanted to strangle her myself while reading Game of Thrones<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Poor poor Bran\u2026oh wait, nevermind.<\/p>\n

So wait, Melisandre gives birth to murderous shadow babies?\u00a0 WTF??<\/p>\n

So who\u2019s the new Pate?\u00a0 Jaqen H’ghar is my guess.\u00a0 I can\u2019t wait to find out what he\u2019s up to now.<\/p>\n

Ok, so Littlefinger is a bit of an enigma to me.\u00a0 I\u2019m thinking that he transferred his Catelyn obsession over to Sansa and some warped part of him feels like he can screw over every other person in Westeros so long as he takes care of her.\u00a0 He obviously wants to be king and he\u2019s obviously the master puppeteer in the game of thrones. \u2026. Right?<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t have anything nice to say about the Greyjoy\u2019s.\u00a0 Even Asha has lost her appeal.<\/p>\n

I do; however, like Dornish women.<\/p>\n

I hope this whole Arya storyline goes somewhere super cool because I\u2019m ready for her to move on.\u00a0 Which is weird because I actually really look forward to these chapters.\u00a0 It\u2019s like a different book within the book.\u00a0 I need the kindly man to teach me some patience.\u00a0 And I love how Sam keeps running into all the \u201cdead\u201d Stark kids.<\/p>\n

A Dance with Dragons<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus H. Roosevelt Christ, George, stop killing everyone I love GDit!!!<\/p>\n

Ok Asha, I kind of like you again.<\/p>\n

And the recipient of the \u201ccharacter who went through the most crap\u201d award goes to\u2026.Tyrion Lannister!\u00a0 Holy shit dude.\u00a0 You had, like, 9 lives in this book.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a relief to finally know where Varys stands in this whole thing.<\/p>\n

Poor, poor Quentyn.\u00a0 Yeesh, I feel bad for that kid.\u00a0 All he wanted was to make his daddy proud and instead he ended up a crispy critter.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s about damn time Dany rode Drogon!\u00a0 That was epic! \u00a0What followed was not so epic\u2026<\/p>\n

NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!\u00a0 Not my Jon!!\u00a0 And how many times do I have to tell you Stark kids not to leave your direwolves behind?\u00a0 Ugh.\u00a0 Littlefinger was right about you lot in that regard.<\/p>\n

Season 1 of HBO\u2019s A Game of Thrones<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

God bless HBO and their penchant for gratuitous nudity.<\/p>\n

Director Tim Van Patten\u2019s brother makes my cat\u2019s food.<\/p>\n

Robb Stark.\u00a0 I\u2019d hit that.<\/p>\n

Renly\u2019s gay???\u00a0 That was made up for the show right? Cause I don\u2019t remember getting that impression in the books. \u00a0But I guess I just missed it.<\/p>\n

From now on, whenever I hear the Johnny Cash song \u201cRing of Fire\u201d I will have a very distinct picture of Dany in my head.<\/p>\n

I probably would have avoided this little experiment<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Theon, you don\u2019t look like how I imagined you in the books but I didn\u2019t want to punch your face in right away so you\u2019re a good actor at least.<\/p>\n

Jon Snow.\u00a0 I\u2019d hit that.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s a whole lotta penis and vajayjay.\u00a0 Most were cool but I\u2019m pretty sure I saw Pycelle\u2019s and that was just totally unnecessary.<\/p>\n
