MAXIM_HOT_100_Nerd Girl 13<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Every year I assign myself an extremely strenuous assignment\u2026go through\u00a0Maxim\u2019s Hot 100 List\u00a0and pick out the 13 nerd-worthiest ladies (is nerd-worthiest even a word? Did I just coin that?) It\u2019s a tough job but someone has to do it and I suppose that someone might as well be me.<\/p>\n

The things I do for you all\u2026 \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

I never repeat the same ladies two years in a row so this year I\u2019m sad to say that\u00a0Rebecca Mader,\u00a0Kat Dennings,\u00a0Stana Katic,\u00a0Yvonne Strahovski,\u00a0Adrianne Palicki,\u00a0Kaley Cuoco,\u00a0Charlize Theron,\u00a0Kate Beckinsale, and\u00a0Jennifer Lawrence\u00a0from 2012\u2019s list will have to sit this one out. However, I never said I wouldn\u2019t repeat from past years so some of the hotties featured in 2011\u2019s list are making a comeback.<\/p>\n

My first run-through narrowed the list down to 39. The second attempt got me down to 18. Third time was the charm and I settled on the 13 you see below.<\/p>\n

Just like in years past, I did not choose the women on this list, I just narrowed them down. Had I chosen,\u00a0Felicia Day,\u00a0Rose Leslie,\u00a0Hayley Atwell,\u00a0Natalie Dormer, and\u00a0Natalie Portman\u00a0(amongst others) would all be on here. I\u2019ll be rooting for them next year.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong>\u00a0the order in which they are presented is the order Maxim put them in.\u00a0 So don\u2019t go blaming me if the ones you like are further down the totem pole.<\/strong><\/p>\n

My #13 \u2013 Their #97.\u00a0Daniella Alonso<\/strong><\/p>\n

This\u00a0sexy rebel\u00a0knows how to blow your mind and blow you up. She also has an impressive list of horror films under her belt.<\/p>\n

My #12 \u2013 Their #95.\u00a0Zooey Deschanel<\/strong><\/p>\n

This\u00a0New Girl\u00a0is the ultimate dork and I love her so much for it. She\u2019s awkward and silly and is completely unapologetic about it. And she was\u00a0Jovie,\u00a0Trillian, AND\u00a0Ms. Edmunds\u00a0so, you know, she\u2019s got that going for her.<\/p>\n

My #11 \u2013 Their #84.\u00a0Alice Eve<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr. Carol Marcus\u00a0just got a whole lot hotter. She\u2019s in\u00a0Star Trek<\/em>. Nothing else matters.<\/p>\n

My #10 \u2013 Their #77.\u00a0Janina Gavankar<\/strong><\/p>\n

This\u00a0sultry shapeshifter\u00a0gets to roll around in the dirt with Sam Merlotte. I\u2019m a tid bit jealous about that.<\/p>\n

My #9 \u2013 Their #65.\u00a0Emilia Clarke<\/strong><\/p>\n

This\u00a0dragon mama\u00a0should be way higher up the list IMHO. I mean seriously, look at her, she\u2019s\u00a0beyond<\/em>\u00a0gorgeous. And she\u2019s a brunette who can pull off a platinum blonde wig. As a fellow brunette, I know exactly how hard that is.<\/p>\n

My #8 \u2013\u00a0Their\u00a0#48.\u00a0Nina Dobrev<\/strong><\/p>\n

A\u00a0vampire vixen\u00a0sandwiched between two hottie brothers who are constantly fighting for her sweet lady kisses. Can you blame them?<\/p>\n

My #7 \u2013 Their #38.\u00a0Zoe Saldana<\/strong><\/p>\n

I personally think that Miss Saldana is one of the pertiest people on the planet. I\u2019m a former dancer so she first caught my eye as the bitchy (in a good way) ballerina in\u00a0Center Stage<\/em>. Then she went and got herself cast as\u00a0Uhura\u00a0and sealed the deal.<\/p>\n

My #6 \u2013 Their #29.\u00a0Olivia Munn<\/strong><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know what it is about Miss Munn but I\u2019ve always liked her. Maybe it\u2019s because she says it like it is and she\u2019s not afraid to be herself even though she seems to be afraid all the time. I can relate to her. Also, her recent guest turn on\u00a0New Girl<\/em>\u00a0was amazing.<\/p>\n

My #5 \u2013 Their #21. Emma Stone<\/p>\n

I love funny women and Emma has comedic timing to spare. She\u2019s making out with\u00a0Spider-Man\u00a0both on screen and in real-life and that just seems like way too much good fortune for one little lady. Also, I want her on my\u00a0Zombie\u00a0Apocalypse Annihilation Team (ZAAT). I can think of no greater honor.<\/p>\n

My #4 \u2013 Their #19.\u00a0Emma Watson<\/strong><\/p>\n

This\u00a0little witch\u00a0is all grown up and showing us that it\u2019s ok\u00a0to be a\u00a0wallflower. Super smart in real life, she\u2019s proving to be a great role model to girls who would otherwise idolize actresses with far less class.<\/p>\n

My #3 \u2013 Their #17.\u00a0Jessica Alba<\/strong><\/p>\n

I wasn\u2019t always a fan of Miss Alba but she\u2019s grown on me over the years and I\u2019m sure her role as a stripper in\u00a0Sin City<\/em>\u00a0had absolutely nothing to do with it\u2026 *ahem*\u2026 Plus, I\u2019ve almost forgiven everyone who was involved in the\u00a0Fantastic Four<\/em>\u00a0movies.\u00a0Almost<\/em>.<\/p>\n

My #2 \u2013 Their #15. Scarlett Johansson<\/p>\n

One of the things I love about ScarJo is that she\u2019s got curves and she knows how to use them. She\u2019s not a twig like some other Hollywood starlets and she seems to be just fine with that. Her confidence is infectious. She shines as Black Widow, the lone (so far) female team member in the movie version of\u00a0The Avengers,<\/em>\u00a0and will be reprising her role in\u00a0Captain America: The Winter Soldier<\/em>\u00a0next year.<\/p>\n

My #1 \u2013 Their #4. Mila Kunis<\/p>\n

This supposedly \u201cwicked witch\u201d graciously accepted a date to the\u00a0Marine Corps Ball\u00a0when asked (in a stunning display of balls by\u00a0Sgt. Scott Moore). A move that made this\u00a0funny lady\u00a0even hotter, something I didn\u2019t even know was possible.<\/p>\n
