Mama Jedi and I dressed up as\u00a0Sherlock\u00a0and Dr. John Watson on Saturday!<\/p>\n

Part 2 is all about the costumes so, without further ado\u2026<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s start off with Video Game Cosplay!<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve got a couple of\u00a0Portal\u00a0fans.<\/p>\n

There was some great Steampunk costumes.<\/p>\n

This is our recently acquired friend,\u00a0Capt. Seekerman, who we met at\u00a0ConDor in San Diego.<\/p>\n

And here is the back of his costume showing off his steam-powered (yes, actually steam-powered) wings that fold up and down.<\/p>\n

Just like I have a NerdBFF in Geek Outlaw,\u00a0Capt. Seekerman\u2018s NerdBFF is Andrea.<\/p>\n

This guy is part of\u00a0Vocademy, a group that helps and teaches others how to make elaborate costume pieces\u00a0like this hat\u00a0that he keeps adding pieces to including an old school Mickey Mouse watch he\u2019s had since he was a kid.<\/p>\n

I swear I know that guy with the goatee from somewhere but I cannot for the life of me remember where. He said it was his very first convention so it\u2019s not that. It\u2019s seriously going to bug me until I remember.<\/p>\n

Steampunk to Sci-Fi is a natural transition, let\u2019s go there next!<\/p>\n

Steampunk\u00a0Boba Fett\u00a0recognized me and remembered that there was a price on my head.<\/p>\n

I snuck past him and then spotted this little Droid wandering the Floor\u2026<\/p>\n

Obviously trying to escape from\u00a0Darth Vader\u00a0who had already taken an Ewok hostage.<\/p>\n

I managed to escape only because this guy warned me it was a trap.<\/p>\n

This\u00a0Stormtrooper\u00a0tried to take me to Darth Vader anyways.<\/p>\n

Luckily Darth Vader was distracted by\u00a0Dark Helmet.<\/p>\n

I was (barely) aided in my escape by\u00a0these guys.<\/p>\n

Only to discover\u00a0General Grievous\u00a0coming after me.<\/p>\n

Lando\u00a0thinks he helped, but he didn\u2019t.<\/p>\n

It was this lovely\u00a0Ewok\u00a0<\/p>\n

Party time! Because\u00a0Bith Happens.<\/p>\n

Wait, is that\u00a0George Lucas?? Nope, it was just a random guy who happened to be walking by and we literally shoved him into our picture.<\/p>\n

This guy is 6\u20194\u2033 and Mama Jedi is 5\u20190\u2033. I love taking pictures of her next to tall people. It makes me happy. I don\u2019t know why.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s crossover into\u00a0Star Trek\u00a0with this lovely crossover. Awww, free\u00a0face hugs! That\u2019s sweet.<\/p>\n

This guy made up his own alien species. Clever boy. (Ignore The Comedian in the background, she\u2019ll get her turn later).<\/p>\n

His made up alien kind of reminds me of a\u00a0Vinvocci\u00a0so let\u2019s segue into\u00a0Doctor Who.<\/p>\n

This lovely 10th Doctor caught me just as I was entering the Con on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

I ran into another 10th Doctor and 4th Doctor hanging out together, obviously\u00a0John Mulhall\u2019s\u00a0nearby\u00a0Geddy\u2019s Moon\u00a0booth provided the necessary paradox for a time crash.<\/p>\n

They must have resolved it because I ran into the\u00a04th Doctor\u00a0again later in the day. It\u2019s always a good day when I get two\u00a0Jelly Babies.<\/p>\n

The\u00a011th Doctor\u00a0was a little spacey that day.<\/p>\n

I think he missed his \u201cSexy.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Don\u2019t worry, I found her.<\/p>\n

This annoying lady kept asking me to\u00a0moisturize her. It was super creepy.<\/p>\n

With\u00a0Brigadier\u00a0Lethbridge-Stewart\u2018s help\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026I found a treasure trove of\u00a0Doctor Who\u00a0characters.<\/p>\n

Hey! It\u2019s the\u00a011th Doctor\u00a0again!<\/p>\n

Who ya gonna call?<\/p>\n

Ghostbusters!<\/p>\n

We run into these guys at so many Cons, they decided to give Hayden an honorary patch. I don\u2019t know who was more excited, Geek Outlaw or\u00a0Stay Puft.<\/p>\n

I asked where\u00a0Vera\u00a0was and he pointed at me. I think he\u2019s had a bit too much Mudder\u2019s Milk.<\/p>\n

Please excuse me while I scold\u00a0Dr. Horrible.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s\u00a0Illyria\u00a0doing hanging out with Harley Quinn?<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know but I\u2019m going to use it to switch over to Comic cosplay!<\/p>\n

My\u00a05-year-old nephew is a huge fan of this Riddler\u00a0(and\u00a0here\u2019s another one). So much so that, when Zeke wouldn\u2019t eat his vegetables,\u00a0Riddler intervened\u00a0and Zeke is\u00a0still eating his vegetables\u00a0to this day!<\/p>\n

As a result, I am not known as \u201cHot Nerd Girl\u201d to this group, but instead as \u201cZeke\u2019s Aunt\u201d which suits me just fine\u00a0\u00a0This\u00a0talented group of Cosplayers go by the names\u00a0Smile-X Villain Co.\u00a0and\u00a0Pieced Together Cosplay\u00a0and they have several different versions of their Gotham Villain costumes. Here\u2019s a more traditional\u2026<\/p>\n

And a seriously kick ass punk rock take. I\u2019ve also seen them in PJ\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy.<\/p>\n

Hayden was scared of Harley Quinn.<\/p>\n

But I correctly deduced that her weapon could not harm me.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s OK, Robin\u2019s here to deal with all of these villains. But where\u2019s Batman?<\/p>\n

You have a choice between Comfy Pajama Batman\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026or Sparkly Disco Batman.<\/p>\n

OMG! It\u2019s Tracy AND\u00a0Dick Tracy!<\/p>\n

Iron Man\u00a0and Doctor Doom had a crowd of people around them taking pictures so Mama Jedi decided to photobomb them.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what everyone else\u2019s pictures look like. Muah hahahahaha!<\/p>\n
